J-Series Subframing

The J-Series (Judicial Series) subframing is a versatile solution designed to support our secondary glazing systems, available in both ballistic and forced entry grades. This framing system provides a smooth, even surface for mounting, making it an ideal choice for securing windows in both modern and historic buildings. Referred to as our Compression Framing System, the J-Series utilizes our patented compression technology, allowing it to be mounted without drilling or causing permanent damage to a building's original materials. Additionally, it can be removed later without leaving any trace of installation.

Custom-made to fit each unique window opening, the J-Series acts as an exoskeleton, providing a stable structure to which AP and RG Series retrofitted systems can be securely attached. The system passes ASTM F 3038 forced entry testing for 15 minutes, ensuring its ability to withstand forced entry attempts. It is the perfect solution when existing framing conditions are not suitable for retrofit, such as damaged or uneven framing, or in buildings with historical significance. The J-Series is a highly adaptable and effective solution for modern and historical security needs.
